The most important benefit I could get in this pageant is the opportunity to represent my hometown, Balayan, and be able to be the ambassadress of goodwill that will promote the industry and tourism of our municipality.

The quality that makes a Batangueña stand out above the rest is her being a religious person. A Batangueña, although a modern and assertive Filipina, is still a believer of our Catholic faith and address to the traditional and conventional norms of morality and decency in her ways of life.
