1. What do you think is the most important benefit you could get in this prestigious pageant and why?

I believe that aside from the exposure that we can have in this pageant, I will be able to share and show my talent and I will also be able to represent our town and our people. I will be able to share what Talisay and Taliseños are all about to others. This pageant also gave me the opportunity to meet new friends and mingle with others. This pageant can also help me to enhance myself and gain more confidence to show the true qualities of a Batangueña.

2. What quality of a Batangueña makes her standout above the rest?

For me, the word “barako” does not apply to our male counterpart, but it is very much applicable to the women of Batangas. We are distinctly known to be fighters but in the positive aspect. Courageous enough to fight for our right and stand to what we believe in without stepping on the rights of others.
