Mutya ng Batangan 2010 Official Pictorial

It was a Saturday made for  the most dazzling Batangueñas as they were gathered for the official pictorial of Mutya ng Batangan 2010.

The photo shoot was organized by the WOWBatangas Team with the help of the Batangas Provincial Tourism Office as represented by Ms. Heidi.

Twenty-one of the finest Batangueñas arrived at La Leona Resort in Brgy. Sampaguita, Lipa City (the pictorial’s venue) with the tourism coordinators of their respective towns, their official makeup artists, and of course, some of their family members who all showed their support for their candidate.

Before the pictorial, the candidates were gathered for the orientation on the pageant’s details. The pictorial was divided into four parts: (1)  casual wear, (2) head shots, (3) swim wear, and (4) group pictorial.

The 21 candidates represent the following cities/municipalities: Alitagtag, Agoncillo, Balayan, Balete, Batangas City, Bauan, Cuenca, Ibaan, Laurel, Lemery, Lipa City, Lobo, Mabini, Malvar, Rosario, San Jose, San Juan, San Nicolas, Taal, Talisay, and Tanauan.

The Mutya ng Batangan pageant director, Mr. Jun Magana, also briefed the candidates of the do’s and don’ts of the pageant. They were also given some tips on how to effectively prepare themselves for the competition.

This is indeed the most prestigious pageant in the province as Mutya ng Batangan is part of the 429th Foundation Anniversary of Batangas.
