This is it! The pageant night has come. This is the story as it happens.
6:00 The 23 Mutya ng Batangan candidates went on stage as presented by the event emcee, Ms. Jing Segismundo of PIO. The candidates danced to Just the Way You Are by Bruno Mars wearing their casual blue dress provided by the pageant’s clothing sponsor, F101.
6:25 Judges were introduced followed by the presentation of criteria for judging. Judges are stage director Floy Quintos, celebrity stylist James Cooper, actor Alan Paule, and fashion designers Roland Roxas and Adriana Agcaoili.
6:30 The candidates went back on stage wearing their swimsuit.
6:44 The traditional quarter turns took place.
7:12 Intermission numbers ended. A certain Monette Gonzales rendered two song numbers and a dance group from Malvar followed.
7:13 The long gown competition started.

Ok na yung pageant kaso sobrang pambabastos ang ginawa ng organizers sa mga previous winners ng Ms. Batangan… Pinapunta nila ang 1st at 2nd runner ups tapos hindi naman nila pinaakyat sa stage. Dapat sila ang magsasalin ng crown sa winners pero hindi yun ang nangyari. Nagbihis at nagpakahirap yung mga tao tapos wala naman pala gagawin don. Eh kung kayo kaya ginawan ng ganon. Kaya pumunta yung winners last year kase may respeto sa pageant pero sila hindi naman inirespeto. Sana hindi yan mangyari uli next year sa mga winners ngayon.
tama ka dyan bryan… make it prestigious next year for the organizing committee… sayang yung pagod ng ibang candidates… wala nmn dayaan sa contest pero di sia ganung ka prestigious tulad ng ibang pageant… like miss bicolandia mgling ung org nila…this past two years ganda ng stage and flow ng pageant pero but this year i didnt like it… sayang naman… kung kelan madami candidates lumiit ung stage at walang upuan ung mga supporters ng candidate… wrong venue and idea… nextyear would be a great another year to change and give the best…

congratulations to all the candidates..they did their best to show us their best performance for that night. it was really hard to choose who will make it to top8.
to the non-winners, always remember that losing doesn’t mean you stop from reaching your dream- that is to be a beauty queen. make every defeat a chance to discover and improve yourself as it will open doors to new opportunities. who knows…that your next pageant will be your night! keep on dreaming. believe. and YOU can make it
to the organizers, staff and sponsors..thank you for giving us a wonderful show. i believed that what happen during the crowning/awarding of the 2nd and 1st runner-up is a miscommunication between the organizers and the 2 reigning winners. let us wait for any announcement or message of the tourism council regarding the issue.
There maybe a miscommunication but it’s not between the 2 reigning winners and the staff. It’s among the staff members themselves. They all know that the reigning winners were at the backstage.
Of course there should be an explanation and an action regarding the incident. Last year when they were crowned, the winners of 2008 crowned them. The same thing was supposed to happen, but it did not.
The question is, who made the script on the cue card and who made the program itself? Have you ever thought if the Ms. Universe crown was transferred by a non-Ms. Universe title holder. I don’t think the organizers of Ms. Universe would even think about that. Of course, their primary focus will be the transfer of crowns from the outgoing to the winners. How come it happened in Ms.Batangan…tsk tsk
Hopefully this won’t happen again next year.
what r u talking about?..is there anything we have 2 know?or is there anything happens we dint know?…and f there is..y r u saying this here..maybe u can make u’r appeal in the governors office or in the office of the concerned department..u r making the people who work for it,and been tired 4 it and those who put their names for this unreliable and no credibility…how could u..jury’s speaks already bring it in the ryt session u can take ur appeal everywhere u want and gud luck thats all

mutya ng batangan2010 ms.juliana kapuendl is really deserving 2 win the crown,ofcourse all of them r beautiful and did their best 2 shine..but ther will be 1 winner and that is who will shine most and standout.i know that a lot of people dont even know who is she,for how many people of batangas there r fews who knows her.i just want u guys know that f u could only c her in their hauz cooking,washing clothes and dishes,without wearing make-ups so simple,go along wiht her frends like a normal person without any extraordinary beauty and brain,and most specially nagbobomba s poso..so classic,traditionally grown up by her most kind and humble mom..by all of this things about her u can really say that she is a real beauty queen inside and out..she deserve it,we know she will bring a lots of pride in r province and the jury’s will never be disappointed.sumday she will bring the crown of bb.pilipinas and eventually sumday the crown of the biggest beauty pageant of the universe..MS.UNIVERSE..thanks 2 all
